Race 3 of the Berks / Lebanon Modified Series was run on Saturday at Randy’s Raceway Kutztown, PA on the 8 lane fast track. Before  a sellout crowd and a Series record 22 racers jamming the pit area the Small Block Modifieds rolled out 1st and Randy Haydt running that new Chucky body scored 2 segment wins on way to a convincing win. It was his 2nd Small Block win of the year. Randy’s win was only 24 pieces of track ahead of Mark Williams who started off strong winning 5 segments on lanes 1-5, collected his best Small Block run of the year finishing 2nd. Woodland winner Sam Heller scored 2 segment wins to hold on to a close 3rd place finish.

Kisthardt, LeVan 1 – 2 in Modified Main

Bryan Kisthardt drew the # 1 pill and did not look back after that as he turned in win # 4 of the season. Bryan scored 2 segment wins on way to a close win. Only 25 pieces of track behind, Jim LeVan who scored his lone segment win on lane 8 but was consistent all night with a 14.13 his lowest score, it was Jim’s 6th Top 5 finish of the season was 2nd.Toby Reinhard continued his strong season scoring 5 segment wins, his best Modified run of the year turned in a fast 3rd place finish. Sam Heller, Timothy Bowers Jr. Berks / Lebanon Winners at Woodland

The Berks / Lebanon Modified Racing Series ran it’s 2nd race of the season on Saturday at Woodland Raceway in Boyertown, Pa. A strong field of 19 Small Block Modifieds were called out 1st. Following his Opening Day Runner Up finish Sam Heller Sr. turned in a dominating “sweep” on way to his 1st Series win. Opening Day winner Randy Haydt nearly made it 2 in a row, scoring 4 segment wins, and trailing Sam by only 3 pieces of track at the finish for a close 2nd place run. Cory Reinhard Scores First Career Win

 

Modified racing was back on the Tri-Oval Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway and Reinhard Racing continued it’s strong season this time as Cory Reinhard scored his 1st career Modified win. Cory scored 2 segment wins, and no less than  19.24 on the other lanes to hold on to a close win. Cory held off Point Leader Mark Williams by 3 pieces of track, and Randy Haydt by 9 pieces of track to score a well deserved win. Mark scored 3 segment wins to finish 2nd, and seemed to run better once that rug was removed ! [Read more…]

Randy Haydt, Brian Sponagle Win Berk’s / Lebanon Series Opener

The Berk’s / Lebanon Modified Racing Series kicked off it’s season on Saturday at Randy’s Raceway on the always challenging Tri-Oval. The Small Block Modified were called out 1st, Last Year’s Small Block Champion Randy Haydt won the title without a win, in the Small Block Opener this year Randy ended that string turning in a strong run. Randy won 3 segments on the middle lanes on way to a close win. Less than a lap behind veteran Sam Heller Sr. who has been off the Tri-Oval for a while, scored 3 segment wins. He had only 2 fall offs and turned in a very good 2nd place finish. Jim LeVan scored 4 segment wins on the middle lanes to come home with a steady 3rd place finish. [Read more…]

Toby Reinhard Gets First Sprint Car Win

Sprint car racing returned to the 8 lane fast track Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway for race 3 of the 6 race season and Toby Reinhard scored 4 segment wins and 4 other strong runs of high 19’s to claim his 1st career Sprint car win. Toby’s win was by only 23 pieces of track ahead of Jim LeVan. Jim also had a fast Orange #1 winning 2 segments for his season best 2nd place finish. Opening night winner Mark Williams scored 2 segment wins to come home with a 3rd place finish.

Mark Williams Scores 5th Modified Win

Modified racing was back on the Tri-Oval Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway and Mark Williams scored 5 segment wins on way to his 5th win of the Modified season. Turning in another strong run on the Tri-Oval, Jim LeVan scored 3 segment wins coming home with a 2nd place finish. Randy Haydt scored his 4th Top 5 finish of the year, winning 2 segments to finish 3rd. Last race winner Bryan Kisthardt scored 2 segment wins, his 5th straight Top 5 finish of the year, crossing the line 4th. Scott Bender ran his new Andy Bachetti car to 2 segment wins to close out the Top 5.

Bryan Kisthardt Checks Into Victory Lane

Modified racing was back on the 8 lane Speedway Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway and Bryan Kisthardt turned in a strong effort scoring his 1st Modified win of the year. Bryan started off winning segments on lanes 1 & 2 added 3 more segment wins along the way to score the win. Following Bryan across the line Mark Williams scored 3 segment wins to come home with a 2nd place run. Randy Haydt Wins Cup / Tony Zapacosta Wins IROC

Racing action was back on the 8 lane Super Speedway Tuesday night with Cup and IROC racing. In the Cup opener Randy Haydt ran his Kodiak #27 to 3 segment wins to claim his 1st NASCAR win of the season. Scoring his best Cup finish of the year Scott Bender scored 2 segment wins to come home with a close Runner up finish. Only 14 pieces of track behind Billy Decker ran the Interstate Batteries  #18 to 2 segment wins for a good 3rd place finish. Only 5 pieces of track of the pace, Toby Reinhard scored 1 segment win his 2nd Top 5 run of the season, finishing 4th. [Read more…]

Mark Williams made it 4 modified wins in a row Tuesday night at Randy’s Raceway on the Tri-Oval, Mark won all 6 segments on way to the win. Jim LeVan broke out of his early season troubles with a strong 2nd place finish, scoring 3 segment wins. Randy Haydt continues to turn in good Modified finishes scored a 3rd place finish, winning 3 segments on lanes 4, 5, &6. Brian Sponagle turned in another good effort on the Tri-Oval, scoring 1 segment win to hold on to a close 4th place finish.
