🏆 Jim LeVan & Matt Light split Randy’s Raceway Twin-10 TYCO NASCAR feature events to open the 2022 schedule
 
TYCO NASCAR Twin-10 Race #1
The New Year clicked over to 2022 and Jim LeVan came ready to race in the opening race of the 2nd half schedule for Randy’s Raceway. Jim’s orange rocket scored 3 segment wins on the way to a very close feature finish. Jim won the feature event by 3 sections of track over Matt Light. Matt Light has been on a tear at Randy’s Raceway of late as he narrowly missed the feature event win by 3 sections of track. Light finished 2nd, scoring 4 segment wins.  The quick 10 lap races kept the racing tight all night long. Finishing in 3rd with a strong run on the 8 lane oval was Chris Brubaker. Chris scored 2 segment wins in his run to the podium.

TYCO Nascar Twin-10 Race #2
Matt Light captures the nightcap 10 lap Nascar feature event with a strong 4 segment winning run on the Randy’s Raceway 8 Lane Oval. Matt had a very strong night of racing with a close 2nd place finish in the opening race and a feature event win in the nightcap. Congrats to Matt on the strong night of racing. Finishing in 2nd place in the nightcap event was Brian Sponagle. Spoons scored 3 segment wins in his run to 2nd place. Wrapping up the podium for race #2 was opening race winner Jim LeVan. Jim scored 1 segment win on his run to his 2nd podium of the night.

Daytona Rumblings:
17 Racers in the house. Twin-10 Lap events created a quick running Nascar twin-bill. Lanes 1 to 6 in the 1st 10 lap event. 3 to 8 in the 2nd 10 lap event. Lynn Wetzel and Greg Leedy returned to action at the Kutztown Speed Plant. Each Twin race carried individual season points. Keep a watch to those Nascar Points.

🏆Matt Light goes back-to-back at Randy’s Raceway scoring a Big Modified Feature Win on Scott Bender Photo Night
 
1 Week ago, Matt Light found victory lane on the Randy’s Raceway 8 Lane Oval, This week Light followed it up with a back-to-back performance and put his TYCO Dirt Modified in victory lane once again. Matt only won 1 segment over the 8 lane full track run. Racing in the 20th anniversary season has been super competitive and Tuesday Night was no different. Light’s win was by 4 track pieces over Brian Sponagle. Spoons running for Team Haydt made a strong run at the win. Brian Sponagle won 2 segments on his 8 lane run of the night. Grabbing the final spot on the podium was Michael Mackaravitz in his TYCO Dirt Mod. Mike scored 4 segment wins on his run over the 8 lanes.

🏆 Matt Light & Jordan Hess score feature wins on the Sprint Car & IROC Twin Feature Night at Randy’s Raceway
 
🏁 Matt Light scores the 410 Sprint Car Feature event win with a strong run on the Randy’s Raceway 8 Lane Oval on Tuesday Night. Matt scored 3 segment wins in securing his 1st Sprint Car win of the 2021-22 Season. The Sprint Car points for the 20th Anniversary season are highly competitive with Sheldon Hiester holding down the top spot with 197 points, Matt Light & Randy Jay Haydt are only 3 points back tied for 2nd. Finishing in the runnerup spot on Tuesday, 2nd place point man – Randy Jay Haydt. Randy scored 2 segments wins on the night. Randy had a poor lane 7 which hurt his chances in the run for the win. Our final podium finisher of the night was point leader, Sheldon Hiester. Sheldon Hiester won 1 segment on the night.

🏁 In the nightcap of the evening – Racers were treated to an IROC Show featuring the Michael Mackaravitz owned TYCO Dump Trucks. The TYCO Dumpers debuted last year and were immediately a hit with the drivers. Taking his 1st career Randy Raceway Feature Win was Jordan Hess. Jordan took a liking to the handle of the big trucks on the Randy’s Raceway 8 Lane Oval and scored 3 of the 4 segment wins to secure his first career win. IROC Racing also yields very close racing finishes and Tuesday was no different. Jordan’s win was by 2 track pieces over James Hammershock. James scored 2 segment wins in his run to 2nd place. Wrapping up our podium for the IROC Class in 3rd was Michael Mackaravitz. Mike won 2 segment wins and was only back 2 track pieces from 2nd and 4 track pieces from 1st. Close racing continues to be the theme, 1st to 3rd were only separated by 4 track pieces. Congrats to Jordan, James and Mike.

17 Strong in the pit for the Pre-Christmas 410 Sprint Car / IROC Doubleheader. 14 competed in the IROC event. Special Thanks to 🎅Timothy J. Bowers Jr – Tim & Little T’s Speedway gave all racers in attendance brand new stock TYCO armatures for Christmas 🎁, Thank You to Timothy J. Bowers Jr for the special 🎁 to all of the racers. Congrats to Jordan Hess on his 1st career win at Randy’s. 5 of the 17 drivers in the Sprint Car class bubbled out and cost them better finishes. It was no different in IROC racing – The TYCO Dumpers took their toll – 50% of class bubbled out. 7 of the 14 drivers had difficulty keeping the big truck in the slot. Lane 5 in IROC competition was the challenge.

The Opening Race of the Memorial Triple Crown Series drew a great field of racers. 18 racers signed in for competition. Rob London was a great friend and racer to everyone at Randy’s Raceway. The Randy’s Raceway 6 Lane Tri-Oval was the stage for this week’s racing action. Shane Hiester slayed the dragon and stole the Round 1 Memorial Series Race win 🏆. Shane won 5 strong segments to secure the feature event win by 5 track sections. Finishing a close 2nd, Matt Light behind the wheel of his Toby #17 coupe. Matt with 2 segments ran a strong race to finish runnerup. Wrapping up the podium stage, Track Owner Randy Jay Haydt with 2 segment wins on his run to the stage.

Jordan was on the lead lap in 4 of the 6 segment races. Sheldon Hiester scores the 410 Sprint Car feature win by 1 track section over track owner Randy Jay Haydt and 2 tracks sections over 3rd Place finisher Matt Light. Sheldon won 3 segments on the night and finished with 71 Laps – 8 sections. Randy Jay Haydt finished in 2nd after winning 2 segments and finishing with 71 laps 7 sections. In 3rd Place was Matt Light who won 3 segments on the night and finished with 71 laps and 6 sections. Track Owner Randy Jay Haydt uses home field advantage and secures a strong TYCO NASCAR feature win with a Richard Petty STP #43 Vintage Ride
 
Promoter and owner of Randy’s Raceway Randy Jay Haydt was in true veteran form on Tuesday Night as he cruised to a TYCO NASCAR feature win. Randy won 4 segments on the night and scored the feature win by 11 track sections. Finishing a strong 2nd with a brand new Kyle Larson #5 car was Matt Light. Matt’s Hendrick Cars ride was flying as Matt made a consistent run to 2nd place. Our 3rd Place finisher, Sheldon Hiester has been red hot this season. Sheldon won 2 segments on the night while wrapping up the podium spot.

TYCO 440×2 Nascar and The famed Randy’s Raceway IROC Series were on tap for Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Both races were run on the Fast 6 Lane Randy’s Raceway Tri-Oval. 1st Up – Tyco Nascar and track owner Randy Jay Haydt slayed the field for a strong Nascar feature win .
