2019-2020 Randy’s Raceway NASCAR Season Review

Mark Williams secures the Nascar Point Championship riding a 4 feature win run. Legendary driver Mark Williams continues to set the mark as the driver to beat at Randy’s Raceway. Mark won 4 of the 7 feature events run at Randy’s. Leading the way with 27 segment wins over the schedule of the season. A total of 25 drivers raced during the season battle at Randy’s Raceway. Finishing in 2nd place is track owner Randy Jay Haydt. Randy won the final Nascar feature event of the season to cap his consistent 2nd place run of the season. Randy scored 22 segment wins over the course of the season long run. Jim LeVan rounds out the Top 3 point award finishing spots for the Nascar division. Jim was a feature event winner on the single run of the Aurora Tub Track. Jim score 15 segment wins over the course of the season long battle. Finishing 4th in points was Tom Wenner, Tom was the Opening Night Nascar feature event winner. Tom had 16 segment wins during the season of Nascar racing. Veteran Racer John Kosmoski scores a huge Modified feature event win on the Bob Amore / Rob London Memorial Race Night

Veteran Racer John Kosmoski scores a huge modified feature event win on the special Bob Amore /Rob London Memorial Race Night. John raced to 3 segments while only deslotting 4 times all night to score the win. Finishing 2nd was Modified Points leader Mark Williams. Mark won 4 segments on the night while securing the 2nd place run. Finishing 3rd was the Myerstown Missile –  Little T, Tim won 4 segments on the night cruising to a 3rd place finish. 4th Place, James Hammershock who just missed the podium. Haydt wins the battle while Williams wins the war !

Track Owner Randy Jay Haydt wins the final NASCAR feature race of 2020 on the 8 Lane Tomy Oval. Randy running a freshly minted Freddy Mac painted Richard Petty #43 streaked to 5 segment wins in dominating fashion to score the feature event win. Chris Brubaker ran 1 of the strongest races all year in a very close 2nd place run. Chris won 2 segments on the night and his Decker Fab chassis was flying all night. Completing the podium on Tuesday, Mark Williams who wrapped up his 2020 NASCAR Point Title with a solid run in the top 3. Mark won 4 segments on the night. MarkWilliams sweeps both ends of the New Years Holiday Thursday Night Thunder Tri-Oval Twin 10 Special

NASCAR Champion Mark Williams started off 2020 with a bang, Sweeping both ends of the NASCAR Twin 10 New Years Holiday Special Event at Randy’s Raceway. Mark won 4 segments in the 1st race on the way to victory lane. In the 2nd Twin 10, Mark won 5 segments to secure the victory. Jim LeVan who is always very strong on the Tri-Oval track scored 2 Runner-up finishes on Thursday night. Jim scored 2 segments wins in both races while powering to 2 podium runs on the night. Cory Reinhard tied Randy J. for 3rd place in race 1, But won out over Randy based on race wins. Cory won 3 segments while Randy only had 2. Randy finished 4th with a strong run using the reliable Danica ride. Brian Sponagle capped the Top 5 of drivers in race 1, Scoring 3 segment wins. [Read more…]

Jim LeVan scores a dominating NASCAR victory on the Aurora Tub Track

Veteran Driver Jim LeVan scored a dominating feature win on Tuesday, November 26 on the Aurora Tub Track road course. Jim LeVan has served notice that he is loaded to win. LeVan dominated action on Tuesday scoring all 6 segment wins while only falling off 1 time and it was in lane 6 late in the segment. Jim ran a near flawless race and was a awarded the victory lane laurels. Finishing in 2nd Place was invader Nick Wummer who is always very strong in road course action, Nick scored 3 segment wins while on the way to the runnerup position. Mark Williams cruises to a convincing NASCAR win on the Tricky Tri-Oval at Randy’s Raceway

Champion driver Mark Williams is on cruise control so far in 2019, Mark cruised to a very strong Nascar victory on the Tricky Tri-Oval on Tuesday, October 15. Mark was perfect on the night winning all 6 segments scoring a strong 120 laps and only de-slotting 6 times on the way to the victory. Mark is forcing everyone in the pit area to raise their game this season. Finishing a strong second was track promoter Randy J. Haydt. Randy won 4 races with the Danica #7 machine on the way to his strong runner-up spot. Corey Reinhard fresh off his Modified feature win from the week prior scored a strong 3rd place finish. Mark Williams drives to a convincing Nascar Victory at Randy’s Raceway

Mark Williams is now 4 for 5 on the 2019 season with a very convincing NASCAR feature win. Mark scored win #4 on the season, Week #2 for  the NASCAR division at Randy’s Raceway. Mark scored 3 race segment wins on the way to victory lane. Finishing in 2nd position was opening day winner, Tom Wenner who scored 4 race segment wins on his way to the runner-up spot. Track Promoter Randy Jay Haydt completed the podium with a 3rd place finish. Randy racing a new Danica themed Bob Amore tribute body, Raced to 2 segment wins. Brian Sponagle who is always tough when the NASCAR Tycos hit the track, Spoons raced to a 4th place finish with 1 segment win. Tom Wenner drives to Randy’s Raceway NASCAR Division 19th Season Opening Night Victory

The 19th Season for Randy’s Raceway opened on Tuesday, September 3 with a 20 Lap NASCAR Division Opening Season Special Event. After a moment of silence for Veteran Racer Bob Amore who passed away recently and some words by Little T the racing was set to begin.  A record 22 drivers signed into the pits to compete for the top spot in the hard body NASCAR division on the famed 8 lane oval. Fresh off his rookie season, Wenner ran a strong consistent night only falling off the track 1 time in a near perfect race night. Wenner won 7 races on the night to score the win. Randy’s Raceway Legendary Champion driver Mark Williams came out strong for the new season with a 2nd place finish. Mark scored 5 race wins to secure 2nd place by 7 track sections. Mark was in mid season form as he only fell off the track twice all night.  Track Promoter and Tyco Master Randy Jay Haydt finished a close 3rd with 4 race wins. [Read more…]

Jim Levan Captures the 2018-19 Randy’s Raceway NASCAR Point Championship

Today we will be looking back in review of the 2018-19 Nascar division at Randy’s Raceway. Berks racer Jim Levan captured the season long Nascar point championship. The championship title came down to the final night of racing on March 26 as less than 10 points separated Jim and 2nd place point racer from Oley Mark Williams. Both racers came ready for battle on the final night and Jim scored the commanding race win on the final night by 8 track pieces over Mark to secure his point title. 6 Points separated the top 2 spots, Tyco Legend Mark Williams finished in 2nd. Track Promoter, Randy J. finished in 3rd. Boyertown Hot Shoe Cory Reinhard capped a great season in 4th. Veteran Ace Brian Sponagle finished in the 5th spot. Blandon Rookie Tom Wenner finished 6th, Boyertown Ace Toby Reinhard finished 7th, Capping off a full set of team TCS drivers in the top 10, Savy Cunnius finished 8th, Veteran Billy Decker in 9th, and rounding out the top 10 is Chris Brubacher in 10th.
